Teriyaki Madness teriyaki.

To start my second food blog, I thought I’d visit places where I don’t frequently see reviews or showdowns. So I headed on over to Teriyaki Madness. Now, this is the second review I’ve done so far in my town and already the businesses had caught wind! Teriyaki Madness had me locked out! So after some other kind patrons demanded to get in, I ordered my food. (They had just forgotten to unlock the doors.)

I debated between chicken teriyaki and salmon teriyaki but ended up going for the salmon. The wafts coming from the kitchen smelled good as I headed out to my car to wait for my food.

I was excited to chomp into my meal when I got home. First, I took a bite of the veggies. They were delicious. Whatever sauce they were cooked in was amazing and they had just the right amount of crunch. Next, I bit into the salmon. It was… salmon. There was nothing noteworthy about it. The teriyaki sauce was sweet yet tangy. I wished there was more of it even though they automatically gave me an extra side.

My friend got chicken teriyaki from the Madness and I tried some. It was really good. There was some char on the chicken that just set it apart from the sauce.

I headed over to Panda Express to try their teriyaki chicken, London Bridge by Fergie playing as I rolled up. One plus already for Panda was that they have a drive-through. The Madness did not.

Panda Express teriyaki.

However, I forgot to ask Panda for extra sauce and I really wish I had. They barely had enough sauce to cover the chicken. The chicken was good and juicy though. What I could taste of the sauce was good though.

“Would you say the Panda Express sauce was more tangy than sweet?” I asked my friend. They stared blankly at me. We both couldn’t remember. It hadn’t left much of an aftertaste for us.

Even though I had to walk inside a restaurant to get my food, the Madness takes the “W.” It left me wanting to go back. The veggies haunt me in my sleep. You could say it wasn’t very teri-yucky.

Carry on my fine cuisine foodies.
